Beef Lindstrom (for four)
1lb minced beef 8oz mashed potato 1 egg yolk 85-150 ml milk 1 cooked or pickled beetroot, finely chopped half a grated onion 2 tablespoons of capers oil for frying 4 fried eggs salt and course ground pepper
Mix ingredients and add just enough milk to bind. Divide into four portions. Shape like a hamburger about three quarters of an inch thick. Fry until well browned. Serve with a fried egg on top.
Note: People can try this recipe out but at their own risk because we don't know how good a cook Douglas really is!!
