Bowls My favourite hobby is bowls. My uncle James got me an application form to fill in for the bowling club. I joined the bowling green in Strathaven ten years ago. It is a private bowling green in Balgreen Road. I play bowls on a Monday and Wednesday night. It opens in April and closes in October. Sometimes I play ties against a man called John. I always play singles never doubles as it is a shorter game. I like bowling because it is a relaxing game, I get to meet other people which is good fun. Bowlers come from all over different places to play ties. I like playing in competitions as they are played outdoors, what I like best is having a good drink afterwards with my friends.
