Birthday Cake (pronounced “Tort Ovotsory”)
4 tbsp Cornflour 4 tbsp Flour 6 Egg Whites 1 cup Sugar 6 Egg Yolks 1 tsp Baking Powder
Method:
1 Use a mixer to whip the egg whites slowly adding sugar until peaks form 2 Slowly add mixed egg yolks 3 Add dry ingredients. Mix well for 2 minutes 4 Put into a 25cm round tin 5 Bake at 160°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown 6 Divide into 3 Layers: Put fruit jelly on the bottom layer and fruit between the middle and top layers. 7 Decorate the top with cream. |
