How to cook a Russian (Sibirian) Pelmeni.

 

You will need (for 3 person ingredients)

-         2 eggs and salt

-         2 glass water

-         1 kg plain flour

-         0.5kg minced meat from pack

-         1 small onion

-         salt and pepper

 

And: Rolling pin, medium bowl, small glass, spoon and knife.

 

1.      From the beginning prepare the dough  

  1. Tip flour on table (Like Pile)

  2. Crack eggs in bowl, add water and stir mixture by spoon.

  3. In the middle pile of flour pour prepared mixture.

  4. Mix dough and put into refrigerator for 30mins

 

2.    The minced meat mix chopped, salt and pepper for taste.

  1. Roll the dough on the table with rolling pin (2-3min)

  2. Cut from dough around slices (with help small glass)

 

 

   4.

 

Wrap minced meat into the prepared dough slices.

 

Preparation:

 

Put in the hot water and boil 10 min.

 

Eat with soured cream or vinegar or ketchup.

Again, many of the recipes we get that originated from overseas have soured cream. 

 

I would have seen that ingredient as something too fancy for every day eating.
