           Sometimes

Sometimes I sit and stare

I don't know why I just sit there,

I look around and see nothing

At other times see something.

Sometimes I sit and cry

I don't know why I sit and cry,

I look around and wonder why

I just sit and cry.

Sometimes I am full of fun

I don't know why I'm full of fun,

I look around and laugh at people

Having fun on the cheap

Sometimes I sit and laugh

I don't know why I sit and laugh and laugh

I look around and I could die

One day I know I will.

noon,

a single, silver sliver,

and a dull drone, the gloved finger,

poised, pressed, a seconds silence

and oblivion

......
