THIS TREE IS OLDER THAN ME.

Acorn once was he.         

Now, a mighty tree.

Cadzow is his home.

Indeed he is not alone.

Enormous, wide and round.

Nowhere else, his like

To be found.

 

Old trees well known

Age, me for one, he's outgrown.

King of timber, let

Thy secret is kept.....
