Mums Headache

Weans! Weans! Weans!
Headache, Headache, Headache
Cos of these weans
Fighting, crying, screaming
WAAAAAAAAA!
The noise its all the same
Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!
You find yourself saying
Then through gritted teeth
"you say" "come on" "be good"
You horrid wee weans
Then the time comes
To put them to bed
Thank goodness, you say
Peace at last, at last!
Then looking at their
"wee faces"
You find, yourself say
AWWWWWWWW!
What lovely wee "Angels"
These weans are to me.

Yvonne,

I like the AAAW interplay with the WAAA earlier in the poem?   Nice poem.
