A Child Called 'It'

Dave was just a young boy when his mother who was an alcoholic and very unstable, began to play dangerous and nasty games with her son’s life. Dave went through the most severe example of child abuse in the  history of California.

This book could help young people who are going through the same situation of child abuse or any other form of abuse.

Dave tells us I am not a victim. My message is about being resilient and responsible.

I want to inspire people to overcome their past trauma, if they can survive the abuse itself then why can’t they use the same strength to overcome the memory of that abuse.

He has two more books, The Lost Boy and A Man Named Dave. They are follow ups to his first book. When he grows up he gets a job in the air force and works his way up. He also works in juvenile hall and other programmes involving youths at risk throughout California. Presidents Reagan, Bush and Clinton gave him commendations.
