Book  Review by Marjorie Wilcox

This is a story about a young lady who lost her father and brother on the Titanic.  Her mother survived the trip and went back to America.

She decided to find a husband for her daughter and that’s when the trouble started.

In the book Annabelle had many troubles in her marriage but she carries on regardless.  This takes her from America to France when she nursed the wounded soldiers in The Great War.   Annabelle was so gifted at this work that she decided to become a doctor.

I thought this was an interesting and stimulating story because the author brought the characters to life. I just could not put the book down.

The author is Danielle Steel the book is called 'A Good Woman'

Thanks Marjorie.   It sounds as though this could make a good film; you'll probably tell me it is.

You don't tell us if the film is fiction on non-fiction. Let me know and thanks again.
