Thanks Marjorie.   In my view, you have successfully built up the story so much that people would want to go out and buy it.

Is this a modern book that you could still get it in e.g. WH Smith or is it a library job?

This Book Review is about a Girl called Angela

 By Lyn Andrews

I recently read a book called; A Daughters Journey; The story began in Ireland, and moved to Liverpool. It centres around a young girl called Angela whose parents were very poor. They have seven children and one on the way, it was a struggle to feed and clothe them, so Angela went to stay with her Aunty Mary and uncle Liam.

Mary is her mother’s older sister who lived about fifty miles away. At school her best friend, who was called Emera, moved to America which upset Angela. She was very unhappy and her uncle was making advances to her so she applied to train as a nurse in Liverpool. She studied hard, but decided it was not for her.

She befriended a girl called Roz who took her home to meet her mum and dad. She had two sisters Liezie and Sal. They discovered that she was very talented at dress designing.

I will stop here because I don’t want to spoil the story for you if you read this book you will enjoy it so much you will want to read more.
