The Six Book Challenge
These are my six books for my Six Book Challenge. Some I loved
reading and others not so much.
My first book was Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
It came with a CD. I loved this book and I would recommend
it to someone else, as having the CD helps with words that I may
not have been able to read without it. I like how you didn't know
how Rebecca died until the end.
My second one was Bought for her Baby by Melanie Milburne.
I enjoyed this book. The person I liked best was Charlotte, as I think
she was a very strong woman to deal with what life threw at her and to
forgive her lover for all the pain caused by his sister.
My third book was A Father’s Sacrifice by Karen Sandler. This book had
lots of similarities to my second book. They described their lust in
nearly every other page. Once or twice would have been enough!
My fourth book was The Blessed and the Dammed by Sara Sheridan. I found
this book a bit boring, although I felt sorry for Tom who is not the main
character. He needed help probably for some kind of mental illness, and
not to be called crazy.
My fifth book is A Kiss before Dying by Ira Levin. I liked this book very
much, but I didn't enjoy how it ended. I didn't know if Bud was killed or
not.
My sixth book was The Step Child by Donna Ford. This book shocked me,
parts made me feel sick and others made me angry. I am a mother and I
can't comprehend, why a mother could ever abuse or harm a child. I gave
this book the highest score because it’s the only book that has ever made
me have strong feelings.
When I first found out about the Six Book challenge I wasn't sure whether
or not to do it, as I hadn't done much reading in the past. I am now glad
I did it as I found that I really enjoyed reading the books. Also I was
the first one finished in my group!

Halfway through your sixth review I
thought you were going to say you gave it a low score.
I was pleased you rated it highly.
It's good when books have that impact on
the reader
