My trip to Australia

On Tuesday 4^th December 2007 we left from home in the taxi to go to Glasgow Airport to catch the plane.

My sister Moira was with me. The journey took two days. First we flew to Dubai and then we stayed in a hotel for an overnight. The next morning we had a breakfast in the plane going to Australia. My nephew Drew and his wife Karen picked us up from the airport. Their daughter Katic was there too. We cuddled each other then we went back home in the car. Drew put our cases in our bedroom then we went up for out tea. Their friends came to see us and we had a blether and a good laugh after, we went for a sleep.

When we woke up we got dressed the next day we went shopping in the bus. My best memory was sitting in the sun and sun bathing. I liked to go for a swim in the sea and have a lunch then we all had fun. Later we came back home for tea. I had a drink and then went to get ready for a sleep. We went out for dinner with a friend, Danielle.

All about Christmas in Australia. We all went to a hotel at Christmas for an overnight. We went for a meal in the shopping centre then Moira and I went back to the hotel for dinner and the next day we washed our clothes to go round the coast for another holiday.

This was our Christmas present from my nephew.

Moira and I were upset we didn’t want to leave Australia.
