COCONUT

The smell of this reminds me of the time my brother brought home the coconuts from work. He worked in the fruit market and he used to allow me to come to his work and see all the differnt kinds of fruit there was and tell me where he would collect the  fruit form the boats. They would have come from all over the world. There was one time he opened up a crate of bananas and there was a huge spider in it .They had to be very careful how they took the fruit out becuse there were all different  kinds of beasts in the crates .They used to open the coconuts up and give me a drink out of it and cut it into small pieces for me to eat. He used to bring all types of fruit home. My favourite is the banana. It was a good way of learning where all the fruits came from.

The type of job my brother held down he had to know about every piece of fruit and veg and where they came from. The coconut smell also reminds of sun, sea and tropical islands. The people wear traditional clothes such as grass skirts and flowers in their hair which give off the most beautiful aroma. Also the deepest blue sea that you could ever imagine. Blue skies and palm trees with the coconuts on them and at the back of all that there were rain forests with all different types of fruit and nuts such as you have never seen before. Also all differnt types of creatures that live off the land. If only we could learn about the differnt types of fruit and veg and that could give everybody a better understanding of what we buy and what's good for you and also live a healthier lifestyle.

Sandra, You paint a wonderful, even romantic, picture of the land of the coconut.
