NEW YORK We arrived at 4pm at the J.F. Kennedy Airport. The weather was the same as here in Scotland. We got our shuttle to the hotel and arrived at about 6pm. The hotel’s name is the Raddwon Hotel and it was in the centre of New York. There was more than one thousand bedrooms in the hotel. Me and Helena’s room was on the 7th floor and the number was 735. Margaret and Alan were put on the 8th floor their number was 835. The rooms were very small with a shower, Cable TV and a safe deposit box and a double bed. So off we went to explore New York City and it was amazing. The buildings were as far as eye can see and all the people were of different nationalities. We went to Grand Central Station and found a pizza place. Then went back to the hotel for bed. The next morning after breakfast we went on an 8 hour bus tour around New York sightseeing. We stopped at the UN building for a tour inside the building with a guided tour, it was very interesting. Then we went for the ferry to Ellis Island to see the museum, then we had lunch. Then went to Ground Zero where the twin towers were and it was a very cold place, I was glad to get back on the bus. After the bus tour we went to Times Square to buy our tickets for the theatre. We went to see Beauty and the Beast. Then back to the hotel for some drinks, then off to bed. The next morning Margaret and Alan had a long lie in. So me and Helena went for breakfast, then we went a walk to the jewelry shops to look for a wedding ring for Helena, she picked a platinum ring with 12 Diamonds.
