EXPERIENCE THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

As a young girl leaving school still unable to read and write very well I was unconcerned and thought that I would always get by.

That was until I met Paul.  He was well educated and came from an upper class family.  This didn’t bother Paul or I.  We were having fun!  Until I was introduced to his parents.

Not having a formal education I was of no use to Paul.  I wouldn’t be able to hold dinner parties or mix in their society so Paul was told to get rid of me.  When he refused, his car and allowances were taken from him.  In the end the pressure became too much and he dumped me.

I was heartbroken for a while but then decided that I had to do something about my reading and writing.

So I joined classes to improve my general education and have been progressing ever since.

I am much more confident, can read, and write and as the saying goes ………….. if they could see me now!!!
