A One Million Lottery Win

If one day I suddenly realised I had won one million pounds, what would I do with the money? First of all I would hand in my notice at work, so I would be able to look after my son without anyone else’s help.

I would also discuss what we should do along with my husband, because I think he has as much a say as I do in the matter. I think my family and I would like to go away for a very long cruise, before making our minds up on what to do with the money. We would have to decide how much we would give our family and friends. I would love to see all our family’s faces when I hand them some money to help pay off their mortgage or bills etc. Then they wouldn’t have any worries. I know we would all have more pleasure from that than anything we could ever want.

When everything is sorted out we would see about a nice cottage which sits on its own, but I’m not sure where we would want our cottage to be situated. It would have to have lots of ground, where my son could have a motor-cross track for his motorbike and a nice caravan, so we could travel all over the country and see all the motorbike shows.

I’m sure nothing would happen the way I have planned, because nothing ever goes to plan. I would only hope that this would not destroy my family, as winning all that money can have a big effect on people and can change a person for better or worse.

It would certainly change me - for the worse I expect.
