Tribute to Phil O’ Donnell By Agnes Henderson My family knew the late Phil O’ Donnell very well. My son liked him very much and he called him Uncle Phil. Phil lived for his family and football. He was a kind, loving man and set a good example to the young footballers. Phil collapsed on the park while playing for Motherwell F.C. and died of heart failure. It was a great shock to everybody. I was very sad for Phil’s family, for his lovely children and his young wife. It was a very sad day.

Agnes,
You have put into words, very nicely, what many people would struggle with. Thanks Agnes
