Holiday Phone Call

We went to the travel agents on Saturday 3^rd October. We got a good deal because of the short notice. The holiday was to Tenerife on the next Friday 9^th October. So it was quite a rush to get everything sorted out. In the rush I forgot to phone Dorothy from the Monday night club.

Dawn and I had a good flight over, it was at night so we arrived at three in the morning on the Saturday. The hotel was very good and clean and the meals were adequate the drinks were free so we had quite a lot to drink all week.

On the Monday we went to the pool for some sunbathing. After sunbathing all day and a drink or two, three, four or five, I went to the room for a shower and forty winks. I was just falling off when the phone rings. Its Dorothy looking for me to go to Larkhall. She was surprised to hear I was in Tenerife. We had a laugh about it. I said I would see her next week and just got ready and went for dinner.
