The most pain I have ever been in. The most pain I have ever been in was when I had Carissa. She was overdue and the doctors decided to induce me, they were worried the cord would strangle her. They started off by putting me on a drip, but they put the drip on too quickly and my labour became too quick. I was in a lot of pain by then. I was having contractions but was not dilating. They soon realised what they had done and slowed it down but by that time it was too late, I was in agony. She was a 4 hour delivery which is quick for me. I remember I had a TV in my room, Top of the Pops was on, Danni Minogue was singing “This is it”. I now hate this song every time it comes on the radio it makes me cringe. |
