The Happiest Moment of My Life

The happiest moment of my life was when my baby boy was born. His first few minutes of life were threatened as he had been without oxygen for a short period of time and the 20 doctors, nurses and midwives surrounding us both , made me feel very frightened, but to have my tiny baby boy in my arms crying was the happiest moment of my life.

Life for my husband and myself has never been the same as his lack of oxygen has caused many processing problems throughout his young life. He has been in and out of hospital but I would never swap my life as he is the most loving little boy who brings out every emotion possible.

Children are definitely a very special gift and they deserve the best we can give in teaching them what is right and wrong and educating them to the best of our ability. Now I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to feel like a child playing with balls and reading children’s books again all because of my son and the joy he brings to us every day.
