The following story was based on the caption below which was taken from the Alpha to Omega Activity Book No1. A short story by James McKean It was a hot sunny day about 3.o'clock in the afternoon when a man was grabbed by a boy by the neck and pushed him in his motor. He tried to shoot another we boy with a gun. nearly everybody was angry and upset, but some folk seemed quite happy. A dog burst a bag of rubbish and ate the food and a cat chased the mouse across the pavement. Outside the front o the shop the customers watched. A wee boy shouted, " He's up on the roof.
