New Home When we went to look for a new house, we drove into the estate and I thought this is a very nice, quiet place and the houses looked really attractive. There were a couple of detached houses for sale and we viewed both of them. The one we bought I fell in love with it. The garden at the front has a lawn, with evergreen trees at the sides and a lovely cherry tree in the middle. It also has a long drive which is mono-blocked. The back garden is all slabbed in split level. It has lots of different trees, flowers and a pond, with many goldfish swimming about. In the summer it is very relaxing, sitting out the back, listening to the water running into the pond, and admiring all the colourful flowers. A learner from South Lanarkshire |
