This is very informative and there is a lot to see at Lanark.  I am interested in going to visit after reading your tale.

A WINTER TALE

Mr Fox and his friends will take you on an enjoyable journey about New Lanark and the Clyde Walkway.  You will see and do interesting things on the way as you walk up to the power station.  You will get to see all different kinds of animals and their habitats and you might see a red or grey squirrel if you are lucky!

Along the way you can come into the Wildlife Centre and see what it’s like.  You can read, or watch a video about a pair of falcons that come and nest.   Or you can see a baby from an egg to a big bird or read all about different animals.   Or, if you like, you can go on a badger or other trails with a guide.  You can also have a go at a touchy-feely box.  It is where you put your hands in a box and guess what’s inside it.  Then you open the lid to see if you’re right.   The mystery object could be a bone or a piece of fur.

If you want to learn more about the wildlife, you can come and see us at New Lanark or visit the web site –www.swt.org.uk - Scottish Wildlife Trust New Lanark
