Experience at Blackpool On Friday we went to McDonalds. Tom had a “Happy Meal” – he likes chicken nugget. We sat at one of the tables. A man sitting at the table across from us was talking to himself. The man was looking at his watch, then he turned his head to one side and started talking to himself. Tom asked who the man was talking to. I told Tom to eat up. I was on tenterhooks in case he asked more questions. I didn’t know what the man would do or say. I was worried about what the other people might be thinking. Would the man get angry with Tom? How can you tell Tom what was wrong without hurting the man’s feelings? |
