I have never been there and don't
suppose I will especially when you could wake up with a Tiger Snake lying
next to you.

Australian Holiday Chapter
(3) Camping Trip
Towards the end of their holiday Joe suggested, "Why don't we go on a
camping trip to finish our holiday off?"
The other kids screamed, "Yes!"
So the next day Joe and Ben bought a tent and then they found a camping
site. By the time they got the tents up it was time to bed down for the
night.
Martha and Gina got up screaming through the night. A tiger snake had got
into the tent but it didn't bite any of them, just scared them. The next
night Joe found a redback spider in his bed and shouted for his dad. Ben
caught it in a little box and let it go a good distance from the tent just
as he had done with the snake.
Joe, Martha and Gina were glad that their dad is a vet. They were lucky
he knew how to handle the creatures as they are very dangerous and
Australia is full of them!
They also saw other animals like wombats, porcupines and fruitbats but
they were less dangerous. The children said,
"The camping trip was great!"
