Holiday Chapter(2)
Ben asked the kids what they would like to visit. Sue and Martha said
Sydney Opera House and the twins Gina and Joe said Australian Wildlife
Park and Matt Australian Rules football. Ben and Sue said ice-hockey. Mail
asked if he could go with them. Martha and the twins stayed at the hotel
and sat at the outdoor pool. But Martha could not stop talking about the
opera house and the twins started to rave about the Australia wildlife
park.
When Ben, Sue and Matt came home from their day out he was telling the
twins and Martha about his day. Ben and Sue were too tired they could not
comment on their day. They just went to bed and forgot about it till the
next morning. The twins asked how they liked the hockey game Sue and Ben
said it was a good game. Matt said, ”l had another good time and met the
players in the dressing room.”
Sue and Ben decided to go for a walk to see different places. They came
across a restaurant Sue says to Ben “Lets go for something to eat”
The waitress came and asked to take their order.
She asked, “Are youse from Scotland?”
Sue and Ben said, ”Yes, we are from Lanarkshire.”
Sue said, “This is a very nice place. We should bring the kids here
sometime for a meal.” |
