Braemar Trip

At the Easter Weekend 2008 I went on a David Urquhart tour to Braemar Friday to Monday.  On the Friday I left Glasgow at 9 o'clock.  We got delayed with snow at Glenshee.  The snow ploughs had to clear the snow and grit the road.  We did not get to the hotel until 4.30.  On the Saturday I went on a tour to Aberdeen.  The snow ploughs had to clear the road from the hotel to Aberdeen.  On the Sunday we went to Ballater and the snow was just as bad.  It was a good weekend and the snow made it good fun.

Winter has not been the same this year.  I hardly noticed any snow- just rain and more rain.

I never thought of going up north, chasing the snow down and getting a few photographs in the process.

Anybody else been up north or even did a bit of skiing.
