I also read Rain Man by Leonore Fleischer.

The 1988 film starred Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.

It is thirty nine pages long and has a lot of pictures.
I liked the pictures because they help tell the story

The story is about two brothers, Charlie and Raymond. Raymond is autistic and has to do everything the same every day or he gets upset.

He lives in a Home as he can’t look after himself.
When their father dies all his money is left to Raymond.
Charlie is unhappy about this! He plans to get the money by getting custody of Raymond. Then he finds out that Raymond is brilliant at counting numbers.

They go to Las Vegas hoping to win a lot of money.

The film was good and I think most people would enjoy reading the book.

The book came with a cassette which helps to understand the story.

Thanks for that Winnie.

Nineteen eighty eight, twenty years ago.  I don't know where the years have gone.

Seems only yesterday that I saw the film.  Now that a few of you have done reviews on this book I think I'll have a go at reading the book .

Is this version in most of the libraries?

Someone has given an answer, thanks.  Click here to see it
