I have lived in Scotland for two years.

I come from Punjab, the city of Phagwara.

I lived there for 26 years.   

Phagwara is not a big city, but there are famous places, for example, sugar mill, starch mill, cotton mill.  Lot of famous religious buildings.  The most famous place is “Golden Temple”. The temple all covered with gold and another one Keshgarh Sahib (Anand Pur), it is a white city.

Punjab food is very delicious.  The people use a lot of spices.  In Punjab there are 3 big universities and many courses there.  The Punjabi people speak Punjabi language.  In Punjab they celebrate many festivals for example, Holi, Lohri, Vaisakhi, Rakhi.  Diwali is the most popular festival.  Punjab capital is Chandigarh.  It is a beautiful city.  I like Punjab.
